The Johnson Creek Tavern

Sometimes you never know what your going to discover.  On a coastal highway driving through an outer bank island not for from Parris Island, I stopped for dinner.

It happened to be The Johnson Creek Tavern.  The walls are lined with thousands of dollar bills!

The tavern has donated these tourist dollars to send veterans to DC.

An interesting panorama of surreal magnitude

Each donated dollar has a short hand written note on it... then stapled to a wall, ceiling, or window frame..

One of the many famous visitors who have autographed a picture for the walls.  What a cool place.
By the way the food was great, set in a casual atmosphere and a very cool memory.
